Swim at Salthill, 6 December 2008

I have a goal of swimming every month of the year, so on Saturday morning decided that it was a good chance to get the December swim out of the way. It was sunny but the wintery sunshine didnt have much warmth in it and the water was painfully cold. There were a few other regulars also going for a dip at Blackrock. A knowledgable-looking bloke reckoned the water temperature was 6 degrees Centigrade. I didn't doubt his assessment.
